Allview is a Romanian company that deals with the manufacturing of electronic products and Dual SIM mobile phones. It recently released its Windows 8.1 powered tablet namely Allview Impera i8. It is a compact but powerful device that is expected to launch soon.

Design and Display

Impera i8 flaunts its beautiful wide 8 inches IPS capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels that is based on One Glass Solution technology. Its dimension figures includes a height of 206.5 mm, width of 122.8 mm and thickness of 9.07 mm along with a weight of 358.6 gm. Its slim design and 16/10 format makes it a portable device with impressive looks.

Hardware and Software

Under the hood, it has a competent list of hardware specifications. It has been powered by an Intel Atom Z3735E Quad Core processor clocked at 1.33 GHz, which can burst up to 1.83 GHz. The processor has a 64-bit architecture and has been integrated with 1 GB RAM. The presence of Intel HD Graphics processor gives you an amazing gaming experience. The Windows v8.1 running as its software, gives users the ease of a laptop. Besides this, user can attach the keyboard or a mouse as per the requirement. Talking about its memory, it has 16 GB of on-board storage along with the support of an expansion card up to 32 GB. Other than this, the tablet has got a subscription package of 1 TB cloud storage on OneDrive. So users can access, store, share and edit files anytime and anywhere.

Camera

The tablet comes assembled with a 5 MP rear snapper along with the auto-focus, multiple shots and Full HD video recording features that provide a resolution of 2560x1920 pixels. For video chat and self portrait shots, Allview has added a 2 MP front camera as well.

Entertainment

On the entertainment part, it comes loaded with a music player, video player, voice recorder, image viewer and editor. It supports almost all popular audio and video formats. Although the tablet does not support any SIM, you can enjoy messaging through Email and social networking sites and calling through Skype, Yahoo etc. To make the full use of tablet, it comes installed with two stereo speakers and a micro-phone.

Connectivity and Battery

User can connect with the web using its available options like GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Other than that, you can transfer data between devices using its Bluetooth or USB feature. To keep the tasks going for longer durations, it has been fueled with a Li-Po battery of 3800 mAh.

Other Features

To make the full use of this Windows enabled device, it comes featured with a Personal Office 365 with which you can access, share, edit and store your different types of documents anytime and anywhere. Also you can customize your home screen, enjoy web surfing with the Bing search and download unlimited applications.
