The Asus AIR3 is one interesting gizmo as it sees an amalgamation of various element such as an iPod speaker and an Internet radio. The design itself is pretty appealing, although we don’t really like the antenna that juts out from the back. Features include :-
- HDSS (High Definition Sound Standard) certified speakers
- Compatible with all iPods (except iPod shuffle)
- Doubles up as iPod charger
- S-Video and composite output
- Wi-Fi connectivity

This notebook is said to take advantage of the upcoming Windows 7 operating system as well, and this could very well be true considering the Taiwanese company has already paraded a couple of touch panels at this year’s Computex.

Currently, up to 85% of Asus’ sales in Japan consist of Eee PC products, and the Taiwanese company hopes to use this leverage and brand power by adjusting the ratio to 70% Eee PCs with the remainder as mainstream notebooks.

Other specifications would include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a microSD memory card slot, mini-USB for connection purporses, and a trackball that functions as the D-pad.
