Cost Effective Dual SIM Smartphone Suitable For Basic Purposes

Intex announced Android dual SIM smartphone named 'Aqua Amoled' in March, 2015. It is a cost effective device suitable for basic purposes only. It is a dual SIM supportive handset which works on 2G (GSM 1800 / 1900 / 850 / 900 MHz) and 3G (HSDPA 2100 MHz) network frequencies. It also comes with dual standby option. It's a good addition in Aqua series which can easily fits to the pocket of any person. The features and specifications of this handset are discussed below:

Display and Dimensions

The 4-inch device has a TFT multi-touch capacitive display and is having a 640x340 pixels resolution. It offers a pixel density of 181ppi and throws off a color depth of 16 million. Intex has used accelerometer, proximity and gyroscope sensors in the phone for better user experience. This bar shaped handset measures 124x60.6x9.4 mm and weighs 106 grams.

Processor and Operating System

The dual SIM smartphone is powered by 1 GHz Dual core processor for better performance. It has 512 MB of RAM. It comes equipped with Android v4.4.2 (KitKat) operating system.

Camera and Storage

At the rear end of the device, there is a 5 MP auto-focus shooter which supports digital zoom, LED flash, geo-tagging, continuous shooting and HDR. It is accompanied by a VGA camera at the front for selfies and video calls. The handset includes 4 GB of internal memory for users which users which is further expandable through microSD card up to 32 GB.

Connectivity and Battery

Intex Aqua Amoled comes with GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth, microUSB v2.0, Wi-Fi, EDGE and GPRS connectivity options. It is packed with Li-ion 1400 mAH battery which offers up to 5 hours of talktime and up to 200 hours standby time.
