Lava Iris X1 is a stylish yet functional smartphone falling in an affordable price range. It has been recently released  by the company in June, 2014. The box content includes a handset, battery, charger, data cable, headset, flip cover, user manual and warranty card.

Dimensions and Display

The phone has been designed in a touch bar format and has an excellent build quality. It has 134mm of height, 66mm of width and 8.9mm of thickness as its dimensions along with a weight of 138 grams. Its front has a 4.5 inches IPS capacitive full laminated touchscreen with a resolution of 480x854 pixels and 217ppi pixel density.

Hardware and Software

Lava Iris X1 is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor coupled with a 1GB of RAM. It has packed a specialized graphics engine based on Videocon Multimedia Technology that ensures amazing gaming and video experience. On the storage part, it has internal memory of 4 GB which can further be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD slot. The device runs on the latest Android v4.4.2 KitKat Operating System. It also avails Proximity, Accelerometer and Ambient Light sensors to have effective operations.

Messages and Calls

It is a Dual SIM phone with unlimited phone book, SMS and call memory capacity. For calling it features Hands free, Call conference and Auto call recording. For messaging it supports SMS, MMS, Email and IM. It also has the T9 dictionary and Predictive text input feature that helps in typing.

Camera

The device has packed a 8MP rear camera with features like BSI+, Multi Element Lens, Zoom, Auto-focus, Flash and Full HD video recording that provide a resolution of 3264x2484 pixels. It also has a 2MP front camera with Multi Element Lens feature.

The device has connectivity options for 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPRS, USB, Bluetooth, EDGE and OTG . It also avails GPS with A GPS support that helps in navigation. The device has been equipped with a Li-ion battery of 1800mAh.
