Lenovo A916 is a dual SIM smartphone released by Lenovo in November, 2014. The phone has a big screen, powerful battery, excellent camera and good storage power. It comes in a pack with handset, battery, USB cable, charger, headset, user manual and warranty card.

Display and Design

The front of this elegant device features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which has a display resolution 1280x720 pixels. It ensures true life clarity of the objects with 267ppi pixel density and 16 Million color depth. The phone has a length of 149.5mm, width of 76.6mm, thickness of 8.7mm as its dimensions. Weighing at 173 grams, this phone is bit heavy.

Processor and OS

It is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system which is responsible to carry basic operations of the phone. Whereas, at the heart, it packs a 1.4GHz Octa-Core Cortex A7 processor, MediaTek MT6592 chipset and Mali-450MP4 GPU which controls all the tasks along with 1GB RAM.

Camera and Memory

For the photography, it comes equipped with 13MP camera on the back which provides a picture resolution of 4128x3096 pixels. It includes digital zoom, LED flash, auto-focus features which helps in clicking quality pictures. On the other hand, it has got a 2MP camera at front for the selfies of 1600x1200 pixels resolution. To store the data, it has got a 8GB internal memory and external memory support of up to 32GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity options of the phone includes Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, USB cable and bluetooth. While for navigation it has GPS and A-GPS. The battery ticking inside the phone is of 2500mAH unit which provides a long usage period without plugging again and again. It operates on 2G, 3G and 4G network frequencies. It allows SMS, MMS, Email, push mail as its messaging options.
