Very good news for all mobile maniacs in India, as Nokia is all set to celebrate this Diwali with its new launch in India. The company is all set to launch its highly successful mini version of N97 handset now in India and will be priced at just Rs. 31,000.

Nokia has made a tremendous business beyond expectation in the high end segment of the phone by selling around 2 million units across word in just months of its N97 original model launch. Nokia N97 Mini mobile phone has truly attracting features.

The device has a personalized home screen, a very attractive looks giving a 3.5 inch touch screen with 640×360 (16:9) resolution which can be tilted as per wish and even can slide. The phone also adds up a slide out QWERTY keyboard, a 5Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash and 4× digital zoom with WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, HSDPA, 32GB of built in flash memory.

The phone also comes with a 3-step email set-up – Nokia N97 mini supports Nokia Messaging, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, Windows Live Hotmail and most other POP3/IMAP email clients. Moreover, a microSD card slot, FM-radio, FM-transmitter (for sending music from the phone to a radio tuner) and a 3.5mm headphone jack which doubles up as TV-out socket adds sugar to the milk.

The phone has a very capable camera that can support good video recording and has a battery life of up to 7-8 hours of talk time and upto 320 hrs of standby time and has a music playback time: Up to 28 hrs while video playback time: Up to 3.5 hrs.
