Overview

The Nikon Coolpix is a range of compact digital cameras brought to you by Nikon. These are stylish, elegant and comfortable cameras with a TFT display screen and 4x digital zoom. These cameras have a wide range of functionalities. Picture resolution is usually up to 16 MP and optical zomm can be as high as 42x. Other features include built-in memory (ranging from 10 MB to 102 MB), camera flash, memory card, high speed continuous shooting, digital and optical zoom, HD video shooting, auto focus, face detection, an ND filter, modes for special effects and self timer. The Coolpix S1100PJ and S1200 PJ also have a built-in projector capability. The S1200PJ can also be connected to the iPad or iPhone. The S3100 and S2500 are one of the slimmest phones by Nikon making it easy to grip and take amazing photos. Many Coolpix cameras are equipped with a DX or CMOS sensor types and an image processing system called the Expeed C2 (found in the P-7000). Coolpix cameras are available in a wide range of vibrant and lustrous colors like red, black, blue etc. they don’t just take great photos but also enable you to shoot high quality HD videos.
