Oppo A31 is a 4G based dual SIM smartphone announced in April, 2015. It is a budget friendly device which is equipped with several qualified specifications such as 4G connectivity, 8 GB internal memory, 8 MP rear camera etc. It is a dual SIM device which also supports dual stand-by option. The features and specifications of this smartphone is discussed below.

Display and Dimensions

It supports a premium design with a metallic frame and glass front and back panels. It is equipped with 4.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen leading to a pixel density of 218 ppi. It shows off a color depth of 16 million. It is a multi-touch bar shaped device which carries a dimensions of 131.9x65.5x8 mm. Talking about its weight, it is just 135 grams.

Processor and Operating System

Powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core Cortex-A53 processor, this dual SIM handset works efficiently with Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chipset, Adreno 306 GPU and 1 GB RAM. It supports Android v4.4 KitKat operating system.

Camera and Storage

For the photography, it features an 8 MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, autofocus, LED flash and geo-tagging, next to the front features a 5 MP secondary camera to meet your needs of selfies and video calls. The user can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. For the storage purpose, it comes loaded with 8 GB internal memory which can be further expanded up to 128 GB through microSD card.

In terms of internet and connectivity, it supports number of features like Bluetooth, A-GPS, GPS, microUSB v2.0, GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi. It is fueled by a Li-Ion 2000 mAh which promises a talktime of up to 7 hours and standby time of up to 240 hours over 2G network.

The Oppo A31 comes in 'Blue' and 'White' shades which comes with a price tag of $160 (INR 10,000).
