Panasonic Corporation is a Japanese company that was founded in 1918. It is one of the largest electronic product manufacturers in the world comprising of 634 companies. Panasonic Mobile Communications focuses on providing a wide range of products being conscious of low range customers. And for this reason, it has announced its Panasonic GD21 which is an extremely reasonable featured phone.

Design and Display

Panasonic GD21 is a bar shaped device which is designed with good quality materials. It is an easy to use and durable handset. Its front panel comprises of a 2.4 inches screen, a circular D-pad and a stiff alphanumeric keypad. While the rear panel is a plain surface with a camera and speaker grill affixed on the top. Its dimension figures includes a height of 120 mm, width of 50 mm and thickness of 14.3 mm.

Software and Memory

It works on the Proprietary Operating System and has the support of 32 MB of RAM. It has a limited internal storage but has the option of expansion through a microSD card up to 16 GB.

Telephony and Messaging

The device operates on 2G 900 / 1800 MHz frequencies. It is a Dual SIM handset with Dual stand-by support. This means user can use two different connections at the same time. For messaging, it avails SMS, MMS and Email.

Camera

To meet the clicking requirements, Panasonic GD21 has a 1.3 MP  rear camera which takes acceptable pictures at a resolution of 1280x1024 pixels.

Entertainment

For entertainment, it packs a audio player to enjoy the favorite music tracks any time. There is a FM radio with Recording option. So, you can tune into different channels and record your favorite track or show anytime. Also, it has a video player to enjoy videos. The support for 3.5 mm audio jack further lets you to choose the headphones of your choice with the handset.

Connectivity and Battery

To connect to web, it has the GPRS option. To share files among devices, it has the Bluetooth and USB support.. The handset comes fueled with a Li-ion battery of 1800 mAh to ensure uninterrupted usage of phone for longer duration.

Other Features

The handset supports English and Hindi languages to ease in using the phone. There are some security features as well like mobile tracker and security inbox. Also, there are some basic utilities under its organizer section like LED torch, calendar, alarm clock etc.
