Rage Magic 40B is a dual SIM Android smartphone launched in May 2014. Rage is a India based company which has launched several featured mobiles and budget smartphones. Rage Magic 40B is also an affordable device comes loaded with a quite decent specification. It packs a 4-inch display, 2G network support, 3.2 MP primary camera and Li-Po 1500 mAh battery etc which is quite impressing specs seen in low-budget smartphones. It comes in a pack with handset, charger, battery, USB cable and user manual.

Display and Design

The device is designed by using a bar format and its looks are quite elegant. It comes with a big 4-inches HVGA capacitive touchscreen at front along with a three soft keys at the bottom of the screen. It provides a display resolution of 480x800 pixels. Measurement wise, it has a height of 129.2 mm, width of 64 mm, thickness of 10.3 mm and it weighs around 126 grams. Its size make it very comfortable to fit into one's hand and user can even hit the entire screen and button without issue.

Processor and OS

Powering the device for handling basic functionality of the phone is a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 256 MB RAM which seems very less powerful but it is perfect for the handset which have such a modest set of specification. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean operating system.

Camera and Memory

For the camera lovers, it has just 3.2 MP camera at the back with zoom and face detection features. It has 0.3 MP camera at front for the acceptable quality selfies. It supports 3GP video format. For the storage purpose, it supports 2 GB internal memory which can be expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

It offers GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.0 and microUSB 2.0 as its connectivity features. It is fueled with 1500mAh Li-Polymer battery under the hood which promises a talktime of up to 6 hours, standby time of up to 130 hours and music playback time of upto 11.5 hours.

There is only Black color option available in Rage Magic 40B and it is priced for INR. 3899 approximately.
