Spice Stellar 445 is a 3G enabled smartphone launched by the domestic manufacturer in July, 2014. It is another addition in the stellar series of Spice mobiles. It is an affordable quad-core based handset available at an affordable price. Karbonn Titanium S99 is the main competitor of this mobile which also carries same features prevailing in the Spice device. Let us talk about the features and specifications of this Android based smartphone.

Display and Dimensions

The front of the phone bears a 4 inch capacitive touchscreen that features a resolution of 480x800 pixels. It has a bar format. The dimensions of the handset are measured as 125x56x10.5mm.

Processor and Operating System

The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor for multitasking and fast speed. It is paired with 512 MB of RAM. It operates on Android v4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.

Camera and Storage

The Stellar 445 carries a 3.2MP primary camera with digital zoom that is meant for clicking pictures and capturing videos of normal quality. It also houses a 1.3MP secondary camera which enables the user to do video calls and to make self portraits. It comes with 4GB of internal memory which is further expandable upto 32GB by inserting memory card slot.

Connectivity and Battery

Connectivity attributes on the phone include A-GPS, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS, microUSB v2, GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It arrives with dual SIM functionality (GSM+GSM) and has 3G network support on one SIM at a time. The budget friendly device is backed by a Li-ion 1500 mAh battery that promises to deliver a decent talktime and stand-by time.

Multimedia

For fun and entertainment, it is being offered with multimedia options such as FM radio, image viewer, music player, voice recording, video recording, video player, 3.5mm audio jack and games. It also comes preloaded with some applications like OLX, Facebook, Whatsapp, Google Playstore and Spice Cloud, that offers 2GB of free cloud storage. The company has provided some basic features like alarm clock, calendar, organiser, voice memo and active noise cancellation. For messaging and mailing, the device has SMS, MMS, Email, Push Mail and IM services.
