The Micro Four Thirds camera system trend seems to be catching on these days, and Olympus has plans to release another model sometime this July. What you see here is not the final product but a concept mock-up of the camera, where this new model will offer unprecedented reductions in dimensions and weight courtesy of the removal of the mirror box.
This new standard will usher in an era of more compact and lightweight interchangeable lens type digital camera systems, and we can expect to see a June 15th announcement attached to this new model.

The SE2241’s progressive fashion sense is as impressive as well-appointed specifications. The rise and fall of oceanic waves was the inspiration for the decorative speaker housing, which captivates the eyes with a 3-dimensional undulation of staggered waves. A slim, high-gloss ebony bezel accented by a polished silver frame reflects an understated elegance. Even the back of the SE2241 offers visual delight, graced by a curvaceous form in mirror black.

Once in a while, you get a device that virtually does it all – case in point, Brando’s latest – the USB Spy Pocket Video Audio Recorder + Flash Drive + Writing Pen. Brando has released a USB Voice Recording pen in the past before, but this one takes the cake as it is able to capture video as well.
$59 will snag you 4GB of storage space, and it also doubles up as an impromptu USB flash drive whenever you need to transfer small files from one computer to another after signing your John Hancock on important documents at the office. This spy device is discreet, capturing still images at VGA resolution (640 x 480 pixels) while video is recorded in AVI format at 352 x 288 resolution.

Information about Microsoft’s new hardware is doing the rounds. The new hardware is dubbed Zune HD. Apple had earlier removed the wheel from iPodand introduced touchscreen iPod Touch and likewise Microsoft has removed the round wheel from Zune and is set to launch Microsoft Zune HD, equipped with a thick click button.
Microsoft Zune HD promises HD quality videos on Microsoft’s portable media player. But for a human eye to take notice of the difference between 720p and 1080p video on 3.5-inch screen is quite daunting. Microsoft Zune HD will have a camera that allows shooting videos in HD with enhanced storage of about 32GB or 64GB.
The price of the Zune HD would be higher than 2nd Generation iPod Touch, which costs around Rs. 21,000. But confirmation regarding the images of Zune HD is yet to be received from Microsoft.

Motorola and Fido offer Canadians another way to put the environment first with today’s launch of the MOTO w233 Renew, exclusive to Fido customers. Renew is the ideal mobile phone for the eco-conscious and budget-minded.
This high-quality wireless device is eco-friendly in several different ways, offering: 100 per cent recyclable phone housing; an in-box postage-paid recycling envelope; Carbonfree certification; best in-class talk time; and efficient post-consumer packaging.

“As the wireless savings company that cares, not only about our customers but about the environment as well, we are proud to exclusively offer the MOTO w233 Renew,” says Sylvain Roy, senior vice president and general manager, Fido.
“With the availability of Renew, the first mobile device in Canada made using 25 per cent recycled plastics, our environmentally-conscious customers have yet another reason to feel good about being a part of Fido, at a budget-friendly price point.”
A first of its kind, the plastic phone housing for the Renew is made from recycled five-gallon water bottles. In fact, a run of 1,000,000 w233 Renew phones will consume enough five-gallon water bottles that stacked end-to-end would extend over five times the height of the CN Tower.

Renew is also the world’s first certified CarbonFree mobile phone on the market. Through an alliance with Carbonfund.org, Motorola offsets the carbon dioxide required to manufacture, distribute and operate the phone through its lifecycle via investments in renewable energy sources and reforestation. Renew earned Carbonfund.org’s CarbonFree Product Certification after an extensive product life-cycle assessment.
“The MOTO w233 Renew is a highlight of Motorola’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and the environment,” says Bill Olson, director, Office of Sustainability and Stewardship, Mobile Devices, Motorola. “We’re thrilled to offer Canadians the chance to put the environment first when making a mobile phone purchase. Renew is a phone that’s been designed from the ground up to be environmentally friendly.”

It comes with 1GB of RAM, and for connectivity you’ve got WiMAX, HSDPA, WiFi, and Bluetooh. Viliv X70 Communication MID does come with GPS hardware; SiRF Star III GPS receiver to be more precise. But for software we know very little. All we know is that it offers location based services and navigation out of the box…
