HDMI connectivity means that your HD videos can be enjoyed on any HDTV or HD Monitor.

Additionally, the camera’s touch-screen user interface provides users with Samsung’s innovative and intuitive One Touch Auto Focus system. This puts complete command of the camera’s focusing system right in the hands of the photographer, allowing the user to pinpoint the exact area to lock focus on by simply touching the location on the LCD screen. Users can also automatically trigger the camera to then take the image by continuing to hold the location with their fingertip.

“The CL65 is all about spreading the joy everywhere from anywhere,” said Sang Jin Park, CEO, Samsung Digital Imaging Co. Ltd. “Never before has a manufacturer provided such a range of technologies in a compact digital camera, giving consumers unprecedented flexibility when it comes to how, when, and where they share their digital images. Geo-tagging keeps track of where the photographer has been, allowing them to quickly and easily share content with their network, while Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi capabilities allow for the simplest of uploads without needing a computer. Philips releases the new super-slim 9664 series LCD TVs

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

Philips has recently released a new range of its super-slim LCD HD TVs, beginning with 42in and 47in models. The Phillips 9664 series boasts to have the world’s fastest LCD response time, along with 200Hz technology, super-high contrast ratios, wireless internet access and Ambilight Spectra 2, all in a set that’s 50 per cent thinner than the previous model.

The new LCD TV models also have the latest and most powerful version of the Perfect Pixel HD picture processing engine which combines with the 200Hz Clear LCD technology to create an LCD response time of 1ms to ensure even the fastest onscreen action is reproduced blur free.

The 9664 range of TV’s are very ideal for wall-mounting due to its slim figure of just 49mm thick and thanks to the optional ‘always straight’ easy wall-mounting bracket, Phillips claims it’s as easy as hanging a painting.

latest Ambilight Spectra 2 I spresent in the new series of 9664, which by projecting lights independently from both sides of the TV on to the rear wall, presents a more immersive viewing experience. Faster response and a more accurate colour match to the on-screen image is obtained by the Spectra 2 than any other previous versions. The reduction in eye strain and a perceived improvement in contrast is received and the impact of the movie now extends beyond the boundaries of the set.

Similar to the Cineos 32PFL9604H which is reviewed in the October issue of Computer Shopper the sets too have the NetTV. Thus, it allows wireless internet access (and YouTube) through the set’s inbuilt WiFi radio in combination with the TV’s remote control. Moreover, the newly redesigned menu system is a great improvement on older Cineos models.

We are sure about the excellent quality both the models will be able to deliver. But, the 42in is priced at £1,700 and 47in is priced at £2,000, which means all people will not be able to afford this new technology.
