Samsung India has launched the C5130 in Indian market. Designed specially for users with active social life, the handset’s homescreen comes with 8 favorite SNS shortcuts including Orkut, Picassa, Facebook, and YouTube. Owing to its integrated full HTML browser and 3G capability, users can easily surf internet on their devices, at a faster speed. With this capability, users can access favorite sites for news, weather updates and various blogs.
“The C5130 mobile is clearly targeted at the youth who are looking at staying connected with their friends at all times, need fast and easy internet access and good multimedia features in their phones, all features being made available to them in an attractively priced package, as indeed the C5130 does”, states Ranjit Yadav, Director -IT & Telecom, Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd. The Samsung C5130 offers a 1.3 megapixel camera with image editor functionality to edit images and customize them as well. The C5130 packs in MP3 player and FM Radio which entertain users while on the go. Users can customize the look of their devices as it is pre-installed with three types of user interface. The handset supports expandable memory up to 8GB, mobile tracker and talktime up to 13 hours. Users need to shell out Rs. 6,200 to purchase the stylish Samsung C5130 slider handset.

Indian consumers who want style in their mobile phone at an affordable price can now go out and buy one after Nokia announced the launch of its new slide phone - Nokia 6600i Slide . Priced attractively at Rs 13,000, the phone has dimensions of 93.0 x 45.0 x 14.2 mm and weighs just 110 grams.
The new slide phone also has the capability of doubling as a modem. Some of the best features in the 6600i include Nokia Xpress audio messaging, and speed dialing for SMS sending. Nokia 6600i is equipped with a TFT screen of 2.2″ , which supports a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels (QVGA). It also has a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and double LED flash.
The Nokia 6600i has an in-built Nokia Music player and offers support for mp3, .wma, .aac, eAAC, eAAC+ formats. Furthermore FM radio users can access channels from 87.5-108 MHz with RDS support. Coming to the e-mail features, the Nokia 6600i supports IMAP4, POP3, SMTP formats. Nokia also said that e-mail attachments are also supported by the phone. Web browsing is made easier with the Nokia Browser, while Nokia Maps application offers GPS and navigation support.
The Nokia 6600i has 20 MB internal user memory, which is expandable to 16 GB via the micro SD slot. The new phone is available in black and silver colors and has a talk time of four hours on GSM networks. Nokia 6600i also offers seamless network connectivity support for 3G, EDGE, GPRS, GSM, 3G, EDGE, GPRS, GSM, HSCSD, UMTS (3G) networks, 850,900, 1800, 1900, 2100 services.

Nokia E72, the much awaited device has finally arrived in India. Nokia E72 device is considered the successor to the very famous E71. Nokia E72 brings a rich mobile email and instant messaging experience right out of the box, making it the perfect device for people that want to be productive in both their personal and professional lives.
Ilari Nurmi, Vice President at Nokia said, “Despite the outstanding market performance of the Nokia E71, we still continually look for ways to enhance the device,” “So we included the desktop like email experience from the Nokia E75 and gave it a new optical navigation key for more intuitive scrolling through menus, emails and fast panning of images. We also upgraded the camera to 5 megapixels and added a standard 3.5 mm audio jack.”
The phone also comes pre-installed with Nokia Messaging and a host of Office Productivity Suites. For the first time, users will be able to set up instant messaging (IM) accounts provided by Nokia Messaging direct from the home screen. In just a few steps, device owners will be able to connect to their favorite IM accounts such as Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk and Ovi, amongst many others.
Other notable features include A-GPS and compass with integrated Maps, including lifetime walk and 10 days of turn-by-turn navigation if activated within the first three months. Conversations are also clearer with active noise cancellation, and a torch can be activated with a single press of the spacebar key. Nokia E72 has more or less everything that the E71 fell short of. The phone has been priced at Rs. 22,989.

Nokia, on Monday, unveiled in India, the new addition to its Nseries range, Nokia N97 mini, which among other things enables the user to lifecast. N97 Mini comes with Lifecasting with Ovi that would open up the next innovative chapter of personal and location-aware internet. As a globally recognized leader in visual display technology, ViewSonic is all set to enter the mobile market and will soon launch a Windows XP phone, the ViewSonic VPC08. The phone, which will run on Windows XP platform, is being viewed as a perfect merger of PCs and mobile phones.
The ViewSonic VPC08 will come with a 2-megapixel camera placed at the back. It has an Intel ULV-series processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB HD, and supports TF card expansion. The new ViewSonic VPC08 is made in the clamshell style and mini-notebook form factor. It is equipped with two screens and keyboard and this VPC08 smartphone is look like Nokia E90.
There is no information about the launch date of the ITG Windows XpPhone but it is expected to sell at $800. The phone is currently restricted to China alone, but will soon be shared with the rest of the world and it has.

HP has recently come up with three new TouchSmart all-in-one PCs called the HP TouchSmart 600, the HP TouchSmart 300 and the HP TouchSmart 9100. The TouchSmart 300 incorporates a 20-inch display screen. The TouchSmart 600 features a 23-inch screen. Both the PCs offer support for Windows 7 operating system. As for the HP TouchSmart 300 and 600 consumer desktops, they’ll be available with AMD Athlon II X2 and Intel Core 2 Duo processors respectively, 4GB of RAM and a slot-loading DVD burner (with a Blu-ray player on the top-spec 600-1055). The 300-series get ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics and WiFi b/g/n, with the 300-1020 having a 500GB hard-drive and the 300-1025 getting 640GB and an integrated HDTV tuner.
The TouchSmart 300 and 600 both models are capable of recognizing multiple gestures like pinch, rotate, arc, flip, press and drag. James Mouton, senior vice president and general manager, Desktop Global Business Unit, Personal Systems Group, HP said that, “Since the launch of the first TouchSmart PC nearly three years ago, we’ve worked closely with a growing number of software companies and independent vendors to develop built-for-touch applications that give consumers and businesses rich interactive multimedia experiences”.
The HP TouchSmart 9100 has been specifically designed for Business class users. The PC takes away the 23-inch display and styling of the 600-series, and offers a choice of Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs, up to 8GB of memory, 250GB to 500GB of HDD space (or a 64GB SSD) and a choice of NVIDIA GeForce 200 or GT230M graphics. There’s also an optional TV tuner, and a choice of slot-loading DVD or Blu ray drives. The 9100 is compatible with Windows 7 operating system.
The HP TouchSmart 300 will cost $899 (approx. Rs. 41,757) while HP TouchSmart 600 will $1,049 (approx. Rs. 48,725) and the HP TouchSmart 9100 business laptop will cost at $1,299 (approx. Rs. 60,360). All of these PCs will be available in market by this December.

Acer, the PC maker has debut in the mobile phone segment and has revealed its first android based smartphone on 14th of October. The handset is the world’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon processor based and world’s first Android 1.6 high definition smartphone.
The new handset is a part of Acer’s Liquid series and its model is Acer A1 Liquid. The Liquid features a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor for snappy response, a Wide VGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution capacitive touchscreen display, and high-speed HSPA data connectivity. A1 is the third smartphone after the TG01 and the HTC HD2 to feature a 1GHz processor. It is also the first Wide-VGA smartphone in the market that should easily benefit from the latest release of the Android 1.6 Operating System (aka Donut).
The A1 Liquid is equipped with a 3.5-inch capacitive display that also aims to take full advantage of 3D gaming and to offer users a better Android experience. It will also feature a new UI. The phone will arrive with GPS system. The A1 Liquid will have all latest technology like 3G involved which will help users for social networking and video streaming.

Samsung has just launched three new phones in India, all included in the affordable Guru series: Samsung Guru 2120, Guru 2130 and Guru 1160.
The 2120 and 2130 are the first Guru phones to feature a photo camera (a VGA one, more exactly). Their other specs are similar, including: 1.5 inch CSTN display with 128 x 128 pixels, Bluetooth, FM radio, music dedicated key, GSM/GPRS connectivity, Mobile Tracker, Bike Mode and MicroSD card support (up to 2GB).
Samsung Guru 2130 also has dual speakers. The Samsung Guru 1160 doesn’t have a camera and it features stereo FM radio, built-in torch, and a battery that can last up to 12 hours in talk-time mode. The prices of the new phones are as follows: Samsung Guru 2120 - 3,240 INR; Samsung Guru 2130 - 3,600 INR; Samsung Guru 1160 - 2,249.
