The Alcatel OneTouch Go Play is a new Dual SIM smartphone announced by company in September, 2015. This device comes equipped with many unique features that have never been seen on other smartphones yet. Its a water, dust and shock proof smartphone certified by IP67. Moreover, it supports photography under the water which is ofcourse a unique quality of any smartphone. It packs a large screen, Lollipop OS, good camera, LTE support and powerful battery. Let's take a brief look on its specifications below:

Display and Design

The device comes imprinted with a black dots on the back with "go" badge and name of the phone. It look amazing in different colors which one can choose according to the taste. It features a 5-inch HD IPS display at front with 1280x720 pixels resolution. It is ideal for watching videos, pictures and text files etc. Overall, company's efforts to make their brand different from others can clearly be seen from its design and qualities. To automate some daily tasks, it has ambient light, gyro and proximity sensor.

Processor and OS

At the heart, it packs a 1.2GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor along with Adreno 405 GPU and 1 GB RAM. Together it provide fast functioning of applications but because of low RAM, the device can cause hang problem. While, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

Camera and Memory

To let the users click pictures, it comes equipped with a 8 MP camera on the back frame with LED flash, auto-focus and digital zoom features. It provides a picture resolution of 3264x2448 pixels. On the other hand, it has 5 MP camera on front for the selfies of good quality. In the terms of storage, there is an internal memory of 8 GB which can be expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity attributes of the phone are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, microUSB. It allows faster surfing and downloading to the users as it supports 2G GSM, 3G HSDPA and 4G LTE network frequency. The battery ticking inside the phone for backup is a Li-Ion 2500mAH.

Shades and Price

The Alcatel One Touch Go Play has total eight color options - Dark Grey, Dark Red, Dark Green, Pink, Lime Green, Blue, Orange. Its expected price is $266.64 approx which is too high according to its spec list.
