The Alcatel OneTouch Pop Star 4G is a new Android OneTouch pop series smartphone announced in September, 2015. It has two models on offer including 3G/1.3GHz and 4G/1GHz processor. The main highlight of this smartphone is its back cover style. There are total 16 styles that company has made available for the buyers. The feature list of the phone packs a 5-inch display, Lollipop OS, dual SIM configuration, 8 MP main camera, 4G LTE support and 2000mAh battery. The brief details of the specification is given below:

Display and Design

The front of the phone has a 5-inch HD IPS fully laminated display which provides clear and bright 160-degree wide viewing angle. It has a screen resolution of 1280x720 pixels that ensures rich visuals without any stress to eyes. Design wise, it has a slight curves at the edges and company has crafted its back cover with beautiful graphics.

Processor and OS

As I have mentioned above, there are two version in this phone including 3G and 4G. The 3G model comes powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor and Mali 400-MP2 GPU. While, the 4G version packs a 1GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with Mali-T760 GPU. Both the models will support 1 GB RAM to handle multiple tasks with ease. The operating system version offered in this smartphone is an Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Camera and Memory

For the photography, it has 8 MP camera at the back frame with LED flash feature. It let you capture pictures even in dim light condition. The highest resolution one can set for the picture is 3264x2448 pixels. For the selfies, it packs 5 MP front-facing camera. On the storage front, it has two options 8 GB and 16 GB internal memory. It also supports microSD card of up to 32 GB for expanding storage level.

Connectivity and Battery

It operates on 2G GSM, 3G HSDPA and 4G LTE network frequencies. The connectivity options of the phone are Bluetooth, microUSB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS/A-GPS. It allows fast browsing and downloading. While for the power, it comes loaded with a 2000mAH battery under the hood.
