The Celkon Campus A518 is a new dual SIM device of the Celkon announced in April, 2015. The main attraction of this pocket-friendly device is its 5-inch screen and camera that supports 3G video calling. Its a perfect combination of affordability, performance and style. Let's have a brief look of its specification below:

Display and Design

The Campus A518 comes in a 5-inch FWVGA display at front which provides a screen resolution of 480x854 pixels. It offers rich visuals of pictures, videos, text files and games etc. The dimensions of the phone includes 145 mm height, 73 mm width and 9.75 mm thickness. The phone is heavy by weighing at 164 grams. Though the screen size of the phone is impressive but to hold this phone for long hours might become problem for the users because of its heavy weight and thickness.

Processor and OS

Processing unit of the phone includes a 1GHz processor which is coupled with 512 MB RAM to handle all the basic operations of the phone. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat version of the operating system. The 512 MB RAM may seems less but it is worth enough according to the price.

Camera and Memory

For the photography, it comes equipped with a 3.2 MP rear camera which is also capable of recording videos. For the front shots, there is 1.3 MP camera at the front panel. In the terms of storage, it supports 4 GB internal memory which can be further expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity attributes of the phone includes Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth and microUSB. While, it operates on 2G (GSM 900/ 1800) and 3G (WCDMA 2100) network frequencies. For the backup, this phone depends upon a Li-Ion 2000mAh battery which promises a 2G talktime of up to 5 hours and standby time of up to 210 hours.
