HTC One M8 for Windows CDMA is a 3G and 4G enabled device announced in August, 2014. Stunning display and beautiful looks have been garnished with a wonderfully customized operating system to make it a complete device. The buyer can purchase this handset in 'Grey' shade. The box contents includes a charger, handset, battery, USB cable, user manual and warranty card.

Display and Dimensions

The smartphone features a 5-inch super LCD3 display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. It packs a density of 441ppi and has a color depth of 16 million. The smartphone comes packed with TBC screen protector which helps to save the display from scratches. It has got a number of sensors like accelerometer, compass, gyro, proximity and barometer sensor. The phone is designed by using a bar format and comes with a height of 146.4mm, a width of 70.6 mm and a thickness of 9.4 mm. It carries a weight of 160 grams.

Processor and Operating System

In terms of performance, it packs a punch with a 2.3 GHz Krait 400 quad-core processor  under the hood, aided by 2GB of RAM, Qualcomm MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801 chipset and Adreno 330 GPU. It runs the Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1.1 operating system.

Camera and Storage

For the purpose of photography, it features an autofocus 4MP dual camera with digital zoom and dual LED flash powered by other features such as panorama, smile detection and HDR (High Dynamic Range). The user can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. The primary camera offers a picture resolution of 2688x1520 pixels whereas the secondary flaunts a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. At the front, it poses a 5MP camera which enables to do video calls or to click selfies. On board storage in this variant is limited to 32GB, with an option of having 128GB expandable memory via memory card slot.

Connectivity and Battery

The M8 features the latest connectivity attributes, including 3G, 4G, A-GPS, bluetooth v4.0, A2DP, apt-X, GPS with GLONASS, Infrared, NFC, microUSB v2.0, EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and Wi-Fi hotspot. In terms of battery life, it comes with a non-removable Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery which promises to deliver a talktime of 24 hours as well as stand-by time of 387 hours.

Multimedia and Other features

HTC has added number of multimedia features in this smartphone such as 3.5mm audio jack, image viewer, music player, video player, voice recording, video recording and games for the entertainment of users. It comes loaded with some other features including active noise cancellation, alarm clock, calendar, organiser, SNS integration, voice dialing and voice memo.
