Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd is the world's largest telecommunication equipment maker. Based in China, this company was founded in 1987 by an ex-military officer Ren Zhengfei and now serves more than one third of the total world's population across 140 countries. Its Huawei Ascend G630 is the new refreshed version of Huawei Ascend G510.

Design and Display

Huawei Ascend is crafted from metallic materials with absolute precision to ensure durability and reliability. Its dimension figures includes a height of 143 mm, width of 71.7 mm and thickness of 7.8 mm along with a weight of 160 grams. Its front is dominated by a beautiful 5 inches LCD multi-touch, capacitive touchscreen with HD resolution of 1280x720 pixels.

Hardware and Software

Powering the device is a 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor which comes paired with 1 GB of RAM and Android v4.3 Jelly Bean Operating System. This ensures faster operations and easy multitasking. On the storage part, it has an embedded memory of 4 GB which can be extended up to 32 GB with a microSD card. Assistance of accelerometer, proximity and ambient light sensors further enhance the operations.

Telephony and Messaging

It works on 2G GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz and 3G network frequencies. On the messaging part, it avails facilities of SMS, MMS, IM and Email. You can even use the Predictive Text Input and T9 dictionary to enhance your typing.

On the shooting cam department, Huawei Ascend G630 has an 8 MP main shooter that comes with enhancements like auto-focus, LED flash, geo-tagging, face-detection, touch-focus and full HD video recording. The front camera is bestowed with a 1 MP sensor which facilitates self pictures.
