iBerry Auxus Beast is a mid range smartphone announced by the Hong Kong based electronics company in April, 2015. Having a large screen, it is a dual SIM phablet which gives a tough competition to other smartphones like Samsung Galaxy Grand 2, Gionee Elife S5.1, Moto G 2nd Generation and Micromax Canvas Selfie. It supports 2G, 3G and 4G networks. The detailed review of this smartphone are discussed below.

Display and Dimensions

It holds a 5.5 inch HD IPS capacitive touchscreen that carries a resolution of 1280x720 pixels leading to a color depth of 16 million. It comes with 'Corning Gorilla Glass' coating which acts a useful tool to protect the screen from scratches and fingerprints. The dimensions are measured as 152x78x8.2 mm and has a weight of 168.6 grams.

Processor and Operating System

This dual SIM phablet is backed by a 1.7 GHz Octa-core processor which is further joined with MediaTek MT6752 chipset, Mali T760 GPU and 3 GB RAM for better user experience. It works on Android v5.0 (Lollipop) operating system which is upgradeable to higher version via OTA.

Camera and Storage

It supports a 13 MP auto-focus camera with LED flash which promises a resolution of 4128x3096 pixels. The LED light helps to take pictures in low light conditions. With 8 MP front shooter one can click beautiful selfies or can do video calls comfortably. It carries a resolution of 3264x2448 pixels. It comes with 16 GB internal memory which you can easily expand up to 128 GB with the help of microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

Coming to the connectivity front, the smartphone has A-GPS, GPS, Bluetooth, microUSB, Wi-Fi, GPRS and EDGE. It is fueled by a Li-Polymer 3050 mAh battery which can work for a day with just a single charge.

The iBerry Auxus Beast comes in 'Black' shade with back panels that come in Blue, White and red colors. The approximate price of this smartphone is INR 13,990.
