Lava International Ltd. is a fast growing mobile brand in India recently launched a budget Android smartphone in its fuel series known as Lava Iris Fuel 20. This smartphone comes with a powerful 4400 mAh battery which boosts 42 days of standby time and 42 hours of talktime. The company claimed that it is the second biggest smartphone battery available in the country. Let's have a closer look on its specifications.

Design and Display

The smartphone has a 5-inch FWVGA capacitive touchscreen with screen resolution of 854x480 pixels. The smartphone supports 16 million colors at pixel density of 196 ppi for flawless clarity on display screen. It carries a length of 145.6 mm, height of 74 mm and thickness of 10.8 mm.

Camera

The smartphone comes with a 5 MP primary camera with resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. 5 MP primary camera comes with features like LED Flash, 4X digital Zoom, HDR and Panorama. It has a VGA secondary camera with Operator Hosted Video calling. The smartphone records videos at 720p.

Processor

Lava Iris Fuel 20 is powered by 1.3 GHz Dual Core MediaTek Processor for better processing speed. Only 512 MB of RAM is there in this smartphone. Chipset is not specified by the company. The smartphone runs on latest OS that is Android KitKat version 4.4.

Memory

It comes with 4 GB of Internal memory out of which 2.2 GB single partition used for apps and only 2.2 GB is available for users. But, it can be expandable up to 32 GB with the help of microSD card.

Connectivity

In terms of connectivity the smartphone has let us down. Because it has only 2G connectivity. This is the biggest let down of the smartphone. There are some other 4G enabled smartphones available in the market at this price range. Google Chrome and Opera Mini are already installed in this smartphone. Other connectivity options are EDGE, GPRS, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, tethering, bluetooth v4.0 and USB connectivity.

Battery

The smartphone provides a biggest battery which has capability to stay wire free for long time. It has a Li-ion 4400 mAh battery which gives you standby time up to 42 days and talktime up to 42 hours. This is a positive point of this smartphone.
