XOLO A600 is a Dual SIM smartphone launched in A series by the Lava on October 2013. It is designed by using a bar format and has a slim body type. The phone packs a wide screen, a powerful battery and good camera. There is ample room available for storage of data. From all aspects, the phone is a perfect option.

Display and Dimensions

The phone comes with an impressive height of 136mm, a width of 67mm and depth of 9mm as its dimensions. To ensure a rich and crystal clear view, it packs a 4.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen which supports multi-touch gestures for gaming and camera functions along with a display resolution of 540x960 pixels. The screen responds beautifully to touch gestures. To provide comfort to the users, it has an accelerometer and proximity sensors.

Processor and OS

In the heart of phone, resides a dual-core processor that clocked at a speed of 1.3GHz coupled with 512MB RAM, MediaTek MT6572W chipset and Mali-400 GPU. It ensures multitasking and users can switch between apps easily. Running the device is an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS which is not the latest but it delivers smooth app performance.

Camera and Memory

The phone comes equipped with a 5MP rear camera for shutterbugs. It provides a picture resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. The camera has LED flash to capture pictures in the dim light. There are some additional features also like face detection, panorama, Geo-tagging and auto-focus. On the front panel, it has 0.3 MP camera for the normal quality selfies. You can also capture as well as play videos of HD quality. In the terms of storage, A600 has loaded a 4GB internal memory which can further be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The phone has been fueled with a Li-Ion 1900 mAh battery which delivers a 2G and 3G talk time of up to 22 hours and 10 hours respectively. Whereas, the stand-by time supported by phone is 650 hours on 2G and 366 hours on 3G network. For user connectivity, it offers GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB port, GPS with A-GPS support and EDGE.

Multimedia

The phone comes loaded with a sufficient amount of apps like Gmail, Google search, Google Talk, YouTube to keep you entertained and busy for hours. It has FM Radio and audio player for music buff. Moreover, other basic productivity related tools like calendar, maps, organizer, voice memo, document viewer and image/video editor are also present on the phone. It facilitates SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email and IM as its messaging features along with a predictive text input facility that makes your typing fast and easy.
