LG Volt is a new mid-range smartphone of the South Korean company, LG. It was announced in April, 2015. It shares many of its features with sibling LG Spirit, except the curved design. It sports a 4.7-inch display, 1.2Ghz quad-core processor, 8 MP main camera with 1 MP front camera and 1 GB RAM. The brief description of its specifications are below:

Display and Design

The phone features a 4.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen at the front with 16 Million color depth, 234ppi pixel density and 540x960 pixels resolution. It supports multitouch gestures and for the protection of screen, it packs a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 2 at the front. Measurement wise, it has a height of 133.25 mm, width of 66 mm, thickness of 9.95 mm and it weighs around 119 grams. It is quite a handful device and offers firm grip while holding.

Processor and OS

Under the hood, it comes equipped with 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor that is coupled with 1 GB RAM to handle the basic operations of the phone. Together, it provides enough space to the data that need fast access. While, it runs on the latest Android version called 5.0-Lollipop operating system.

Camera and Memory

For the photography, it supports 8 MP camera at the back and 1 MP camera at the front panel. The main camera also features LED flash which allows you clear photography in dim light condition. In the terms of storage, it comes loaded with a internal memory of 8 GB which can further be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The LG Volt includes a GPS/A-GPS, microUSB, Wi-Fi, 4G network support, NFC and Bluetooth 4.1 as its connectivity attributes. The battery ticking inside the phone is of 2100mah unit which is rated to deliver long usage period and its a removable battery.

The LG Volt comes in Blue and White color option. It is priced at KRW 200,00 which is around INR 11,400 approximately.
