Maximus MAX 905 is an Android based smartphone that is available in the markets of Bangladesh only. Its box contents includes a handset, battery, headset, charger, data cable and user manual.

Design and Display

This phone has got a decent look with its bar format and silver lining around its bezel. Its front is dominated by a 4 inches WVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480x800 pixels.

Hardware and Software

The phone comes bundled with 1 GHz Dual Core processor and Android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean Operating System. The device has 4 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB using a microSD slot. Basic sensors have been availed like proximity and accelerometer sensors.

Telephony and Messaging

Max 905 comes with the dual SIM facility and dual stand-by support. It operates on 2G ( GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz ) and 3G ( UMTS 2100 MHz ) network frequencies. SMS, MMS, Email and IM are some of the facilities available for the messaging. User can set ringtones for the phone or can switch to the vibration mode if in a meeting. The multi-language feature, further ease the user in using the phone.

Camera

The device supports 5 MP camera at the back which takes decent pictures and a 1.3 MP camera at the front which is sufficient for making video calls.

Entertainment

On the entertainment part, the phone comes loaded with the MP3 music player and MP4 video player . Along with that user can record videos, view images and can play games. Plus availability of loudspeaker and 3.5 mm jack further increases its capabilities.

Connectivity and Battery

On the connectivity front, the handset is WAP/ GPRS enabled. It also has the options for Wi-Fi, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth and USB. It also features GPS with A-GPS support to help in navigation. The phone houses a Li-Po battery of 1500 mAh which gives decent battery backup.
