Mi-Fone is an Africa based company that was founded in 2008. Its Mi-A350 Fab 3.5 mobile is a touchscreen device with a stylish body and an impressive set of features. It is expected to hit the Indian shelves soon. Its pack includes a handset, battery, USB charger, headset and user guide. Design and Display

The phone has been formed in a bar shape with curvy edges. The front panel includes a responsive screen, three touch keys and a black colored bezel. A silver strip runs all along the phone, giving it a slightly classy look. The back panel has the camera and the company's symbol embossed on it. The device has got a 3.5 inches HVGA capacitive touchscreen based on one glass solution with a resolution of 480x320 pixels. It gives high visibility under sunlight also. Its dimension figures includes a height of 117 mm, a width of 62 mm and a thickness of 11mm.

Hardware and Software

The device has coupled the 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor with Android v4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System. It has been assisted with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of on-board storage which is expandable up to 32 GB with a microSD card. Support of sensors like gesture, proximity and light help in effective operations.

Telephony and Messaging

It operates on 2G ( GSM 800 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz ) and 3G ( UMTS 2100 MHz ) network frequencies. Being a dual SIM handset, Fab 3.5 can support two GSM connections and both will remain active all the time. On the messaging part, the phone avails SMS, MMS, Email and IM facilities.

Camera

It comes equipped with a 3 MP rear shooter for taking decent pictures in day light conditions and 1.3 MP front facing camera which is adequate for making video calls.

Entertainment

The phone features a music player which lets you store and listen to your favorite tracks. It also has the video player to enjoy video files. The FM radio in the handset allows you to tune to your favorite channel. Social networking apps has also been integrated to stay in touch with your near and dear ones. It has inbuilt applications like Facebook, Gmail, Google Search, Maps, Twitter, Yahoo Mail and YouTube.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity attributes includes GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi. Along with that user can use the Bluetooth for data transfer or the USB feature for PC synchronization. It comes loaded with a Lithium battery of 1200 mAh that ensures an uninterrupted standby time of 160 hours and talktime of up to 4 hours.

Price

The phone is expected to be available in Black and Red shades at a price of Rs 4,135 approximately.
