Absolute Value For Money

Motorola Moto G Forte got announced in April, 2014 and its accurate figures are yet under cover. It is much like its predecessor Motorola Moto G. Although its previous version was worth Rs 12,499 approx. Moto G Forte is also expected to be in the price range of 12K - 20K approx.

Design and Display

The phone is designed in a bar format and has subtle curves. The front panel has a touchscreen display and the back panel has a rugged grip shell which is an enhancement in this handset. It comes with 129.9 mm of height, 65.9 mm of width and 11.6 mm of thickness as its dimensions. G Forte flaunts its beautiful 4.5 inches, IPS capacitive touchscreen with HD resolution of 720x1280 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass Protection.

User Interface and Comfort to Use

Moto G Forte is powered by 1.2 GHz Dual Core ( Cortex A7 Snapdragon 400 ) processor and 1 GB RAM. Presence of Adreno 305 GPU ensures good gaming experience to users. On-board storage stands at 8/16 GB. The phone operates on Android v4.4 Jelly Bean Operating System which can be upgraded to Android v4.42 Kitkat OS.

Telephony and Phonebook

The smartphone supports 2G and 3G networks. The phone call, speaker and touch quality is fine. It features voice dialing, contact history and unlimited phone book capacity.

Messaging and Emails

For messaging, it supports SMS, MMS, Email and IM. It also has the T9 dictionary that helps in typing.

Camera

Moto G Forte supports a 5 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front camera. Rear camera provides a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels and has features like auto focus, LED Flash, Geo-tagging, touch-focus, face detection, panorama,  Zoom, HD video recording etc.

Connectivity and Battery

On the connectivity front, it has options for - Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, Handsfree, USB etc. The phone packs a battery of 2070 mAh.

Value for Money 

The phone is absolute value for money. It has got some very good features. It is already doing well in other countries. But still we are waiting for Moto G Forte to show its performance in India.

Other Utility Tools

Since it is much like its predecessor, it is expected to have utilities that its previous set already had. Some of them are compass, accelerometer and proximity sensors, photo viewer/editor, document viewer, SNS integration, Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic. Moto G also had storage of 50 GB on Google Drive. It had inbuilt apps like YouTube, Google Talk, Picassa, Gmail, Google Search, maps etc. Players and formats supported were MP3/AAC+/WAV/Flac player and MP4/H.263/H.264 player.
