Motorola is famous for its rough and tough build quality of mobile phones. They use premium quality material for the construction of new smartphones every time. On 27th of July, 2015 the company announced 3 new mobile phones - Moto G (3rd Generation), Moto X Play, Moto X Style which are excellent in quality, features and design. Out of these three devices Moto X Style is a flagship device featuring top tier specifications. The Motorola Moto X Play comes with slight improvements over the last year's successor Moto X (2nd Generation). It packs in a two in-built memory options one is 16 GB and other is 32 GB with 2 GB RAM. On the other hand, battery life is one of the highlighted feature of the Moto X play. Motorola has officially launched the Moto X Play in India for Rs. 18,499 for 16GB variant & Rs. 19,999 for the 32GB variant.

Design and Display

In terms of design, it features a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels of screen resolution. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects Moto X Play from nearly edge to edge to help keep your phone safe from scratches and breakage. The Moto X play measures 148 x75 x8.9-10.9mm and weighs around 169 grams. It also support Water repellant Nano-coating (IP52 certified) technology, but probably should not submerged for too long. The smartphone has a pixel density of 403 ppi. The company take care of all needs of its users and their user experience also which led them to build an amazing display. The 5.5 inch display supports 16 million color and 74.4% screen-to-body ratio for better color scheme.

Camera

The all new Moto X Play delivers high-quality images in any condition whether it is rainy season, day, night or bright sunny day with its HD 21 MP rear camera. It's f/2.0 aperture generates crystal clear images even in dim light. The dual LED flash maintains color balance and preserves clarity of the images. A 5 MP high definition front camera is installed on the front side of this smartphone which allows you to do video calling and click selfies. Apart from that it gives you opportunity to shoot HD videos at 1080p@30fps video resolution.

Processor

The Moto X play is powered by Quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 Octa-core 64-bit processor mated with Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset and Adreno 405 graphics core processor. To store files, videos, all your important data and application data the Moto X Play carries 16GB inbuilt memory options with 2 GB RAM. The company is giving you option to increase your memory upto 128 GB through MicroSD card so, that you will never feel shortage of memory. Android System is the backbone of any smartphone. It runs on latest OS that is Android OS, v5.1.1 Lollipop.

Connectivity

On the connectivity front, it offers you 2G, 3G, 4G networks, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, hotspot , Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP, LE , GPS with A-GPS, NFC and microUSB v2.0 Connectivity.
