Nokia X2 features a dual layered design that imparts stylish looks to the phone. This bar shaped device comes with a height of 121.7mm, width of 68.3mm and a thickness of 11.1 mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 150 grams. The overall look of phone is impressive with a WVGA capacitive touchscreen of 4.3-inches which provides a resolution of 800x480 pixels and a 217ppi pixel density. Nokia X2 is powered by a Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor with Qualcomm MSM8210 Snapdragon 200 chip-set and Adreno 302 GPU. It is based on the new Nokia X software platform. It has a RAM of 1 GB and a free cloud storage up to 7 GB. The phone has a mass storage of 4 GB which can be expanded up to 32 GB via micro SD card. It has enough power to handle apps which are thrown on its way.

Nokia X2 supports Dual SIM which operates on 2G (GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and 3G (HSDPA 900/2100 MHz) network frequencies. The phonebook has the capacity to store an unlimited number of contacts. For messaging, it has SMS, MMS, email, push mail and IM facilities. It also features predictive text input which helps in typing.
