Easy To Use Dual SIM Handset

Onida has announced the G001S, a dual SIM phone in October, 2013. The box contents includes a handset, charger, headset, battery, user manual, USB cable and a warranty card. The phone is discussed in detail below.

Design and Display

The G001S is a bar shaped device which is easy to use and handle. It has a height of 124.5mm, width of 52.5mm and a thickness of 13.45mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 100gms. The phone has a screen size of 2.4-inches which provides a resolution of 240x320 pixels. It also features an alphanumeric keypad which is present below the display.

Memory

There is a memory card slot available in the Onida G001S which can accommodate up to 8 GB micro SD card. The user can store a list of 1000 contacts to the phonebook memory along with 200 SMS.

Telephony and Messaging

The device operates on 2G (GSM 900/1800 MHz) network frequencies. The call quality offered is good at all the times. For messaging, the phone is featured with SMS along with T9 dictionary which facilitates typing.

Camera

The Onida G001S has a primary camera of 0.3 MP which allows you to capture 640x480 resolution pictures along with a digital zoom facility. Unfortunately, the phone does not have any front-facing camera for video chatting purposes.

Multimedia

The phone is also featured with a music and video player for the listening pleasure and entertainment. The phone also has a stereo FM so that one can tune in to their favorite radio station and listen to their favorite songs anytime, anywhere.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity attributes of the device includes GPRS, Bluetooth, hands-free and USB port. The device is energized by a removable Li-Ion 1800 mAh battery which can stay longer even with extensive usage.

The Onida G001S is available in Black and White shades with a price tag of Rs 1,900 approx, may vary.
