Low-Budget Calling Tablet with Massive Battery Backup

Penta T-Pad WS704DX is a low-budget calling tablet announced by Pantel Technologies in September, 2015. Pantel Tech is an Indian company best known for launching tablets. The new tablet comes with a pocket friendly price and it packs a normal set of features. The main highlight of this tablet is its 3G enabling video calling which keeps you connected with your near ones always. It features a 7-inch screen, KitKat OS, 1 GB RAM, standard camera and 3000mAh battery. Let's take a closer look to the specifications below:

Display and Design

This average in look device packs a 7-inch LCD display at front with 1024x600 pixels resolution. It flaunts a 16 million display colors. It provides rich and clear display of videos, games, pictures and other stuff etc. In the terms of design, there is nothing impressive in this device. This is the color option only that make it a bit attractive.

Processor and OS

At the heart, it packs a 1.3GHz dual-core processor which is coupled with 1 GB RAM to handle all the operations. The RAM unit is not enough for the lag free service and this would be seen as a negative side of this device. While, running the tablet is also an older KitKat v4.4 version of Android.

Camera and Memory

It comes fitted with just 2 MP camera at the back and 0.3 MP camera at front. Both the camera provides an acceptable quality pictures. The highest resolution one can set for the main camera is 1600x1200 pixels. For the storage purpose, it has 8 GB internal memory and 32 GB expandable memory via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

It offers Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n as its connectivity features and it works on 2G/3G network band frequencies. For messaging, it has SMS, MMS, Email and IM. For the entertainment, it includes FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, music player, video player and games. While, it draws backup from a 3000mAh battery.

Shades and Price

The Penta T-Pad WS704DX has two color options including Red and Blue. It is expected to be priced at 4,999 approximately. The main rivals of this tablet available in the market are Micromax Funbook Mili P365, Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10F and iBall 6351-Q40.
