Samsung Galaxy A7 Duos is a high-end smartphone announced by the South Korean company in January, 2015. It offers a large display backed by a strong configuration. It impresses with its excellent cameras and latest connectivity features. It is a dual SIM smartphone which works on 2G (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz), 3G (HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz) and 4G (LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 MHz) networking frequencies. Display and Dimensions

This dual SIM smartphone is stylish and attractive as far as the looks are concerned. It flaunts a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen which is designed to offer rich colors, sharpness and high clarity thanks to full HD resolution (1920x1080 pixels) leading to a pixel density of 410ppi. It is a multi-touch smartphone which has a color depth of 16 million. This bar shaped handset measures 151x76.2x6.3 mm and weighs at 141 grams. It features accelerometer sensor, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.

Processor and Operating System

It is powered by Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 Quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor accompanied by a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset and Adreno 405 Mali-T628 MP6 GPU which works really well. It is paired with 2 GB RAM .This slim device works on Android v4.4 (KitKat) operating system .

Camera and Storage

The 13 MP rear shooter comes with a number of options like face detection, panorama, HDR, geo-tagging, touch focus, auto-focus and LED flash. The user record videos and take pictures at resolution of 4128x3096 pixels. It is capable of playing 1080p HD videos at 30fps. The secondary camera of 5 MP facilitates video calling and selfies at resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. The internal memory of the smartphone is 16 GB which can be expanded further up to 64 GB through a microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

On the connectivity front the device offers A-GPS, Bluetooth, GPS with GLONASS, microUSB v2.0, GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi. It is capable of offering 3G speed of up to 42.2/5.76 Mbps (HSPA) and Cat4 150/50 Mbps (LTE). Backing the device is a non-removable Li-Ion 2600 mAh which has the capacity to deliver talktime of 17 hours.
