Finally after a long time gap and lots of rumors, Chinese smartphone maker Samsung has launched company's first thinnest smartphone that is Samsung Galaxy A8 with impressive look and features. It is one of most featured rich mid-range smartphone and has full metal uni-body design like other A-series smartphones. Lets take a brief look on its specifications.

Design and Display

Fully metal body design smartphone Galaxy A8 features a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. At amazing 386 ppi pixels density it supports 16 million display colors for better viewing experience. The back panel of this smartphone is replaced by aluminium metal, earlier it was of Glass like Samsung Galaxy S6. It has dimension of 158 x 76.8 x 5.9 mm and weight around 151 grams. It supports for Optional Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). Another high-end feature of this device is the presence of finger-print scanner on the home button. So, you can set a impression for locking and unlocking your device's working.

Camera

16 MP primary camera is on board for clicking pictures. The camera of this smartphone allows you to click your pictures with great clarity at 5312 x 2988 pixels. It comes with modern features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR. The memory expansion in the phone is shared with second SIM card slot so, you will be unable to used both dual SIM and microSD at the same time unfortunately.
