The Smartfren Andromax Q is a latest device by Smartfren running on Cyanogen OS. The Smartfren is a well known telecom operator of Indonesia which has launched many smartphone in the Andromax series. The Andromax Q supports entry level features and packs an affordable price tag. It has 4.5-inch screen, quad-core processor, microSD card support, dual SIM configuration and good camera. Let's have a brief look of its specification below:

Display and Design

The smartphone boasts a 4.5-inch TFT LCD touchscreen at front which provides a display resolution 854x480 pixels. The screen is decent for the clear visual but yes it is not compatible to other smartphones of same range in the terms of screen size, as many of budget smartphones in the market supports 5-inch screen. The overall look of the phone is not so impressing and its compact size make it comfortable to hold.

Processor and OS

The OS department is the main milestone of this phone, as it runs on Cyanogen OS 12 operating system. It is based in Android 5 OS basically. Under the hood, it comes powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor and Snapdragon 410 chipset. It is paired to 1GB RAM to draw all the basic operation efficiently. The 1GB unit is acceptable at this price tag.

Camera and Memory

The phone comes equipped with 5MP camera on back panel which supports flash feature for the photography in dim light condition. It also packs 2MP camera on front for the selfies of acceptable quality. One can also capture videos by the main camera. For the storage purpose, it has 8GB internal memory which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The phone operates on 2G, 3G and 4G network frequencies. So, there is no point of slower surfing and downloading of apps. The other connectivity options it supports are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB v2.0 and Bluetooth v4.0. For the backup, it depends upon Li-ion 2000mAh battery.
