Sony Xperia J1 Compact is a latest member of Xperia series announced by Sony for Japanese market in March, 2015. It is slated to release there in April, 2015 and its a first device that comes unlocked. It's a company's high-end smartphone released with various features to attract the masses. It packs a 4.3-inch screen, quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, microSD card support, wonderful 20.7MP camera and 2300mAh battery. The brief description of this smartphones is discussed below:

Display and Design

The smartphone has a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen at the front with 720x1080 pixels resolution and 16M colors depth. It is ideal for rich view of pictures, videos and text files etc. It is also built with some sensors like compass, magnetometer, proximity and accelerometer to automate some of daily tasks. Dimensions of the phone includes 128mm height, 65mm width, 9.7mm thickness and it weighs around 138 grams. With the measure of depth and weight, this device is bit thick and heavy. Like its other member, it is also an IP58 certified water and dust resistant smartphone.

Processor and OS

Processing the device is a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor which is coupled with 2GB RAM to perform its basic operations and to provide lag free service to its users. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system which offers many new features and improved design to the users but now latest OS is also out in the market, so it can be considered as the drawback of the phone.

Camera and Memory

It is the perfect device in the terms of camera, it comes equipped with a wonderful 20.7 MP camera at the back panel which provides amazing photography experience to its users. It also has LED flash as its feature to let its user click pictures in dark condition. On the other hand, it has 2.2MP camera at front for the front shots. For the storage purpose, it supports 16GB internal memory which is enough for storing huge data but it also has microSD card support to expand storage level.

Connectivity and Battery

On connectivity front, it offers Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth, USB, 2G/ 3G network support and GPS. For the backup this phone depends upon 2300 mAh battery that resides under the hood.

Shades and Price

It is priced for JPY 59,184 (approximate INR.30000) and it will be available in Japanese market from April, 2015. In the terms of shades, there is only one White shade in Xperia J1 Compact.
