Sony is a Japanese mobile company known for its rich smartphones, phablets and tablets. It launches many device for the Indian market to compete and rise high in the market competition. One of the 2014 launch by the company is a Sony Xperia T2 Ultra dual phablet. It comes with large screen, dual SIM configuration, Jelly Bean OS, Quad- core processor, wonderful camera and non- removable battery. All in all, its a perfect combination of styling and performance except the outdated OS.

Display and Design 

The device features a 6- inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen at front which has a display resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It offers brilliant visual experience to its users by the 16M color depth and 245ppi pixel density. Moreover, it also supports up to 10 fingers multi touch gesture and triluminous display. The measurement of the length, width and thickness of the device is a 165.2mm, 83.8mm, 7.7mm respectively. While it weighs around 171.8 grams. It has Dual SIM slot to divide your personal and professional life. To automate the daily tasks, it comes with accelerometer, proximity, compass and gyro sensor.

Processor and OS

Inside the phablet, resides a 1.4GHz Cortex-A7 quad-core processor, Qualcomm MSM8228 Snapdragon 400 chipset, Adreno 305 GPU, so that user can experience smooth app performance and more accurate service. Whereas, it runs on Android 4.3 Jelly bean operating system which is upgradable to 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.

Camera and Memory

For the photography, it comes equipped with 13MP primary camera which provides a picture resolution of 4128x3096 pixels and offers auto-focus, LED flash, HDR, face detection, sweep panorama and geo-tagging features. It is also capable of recording 1080p videos by 30fps. On the other hand, it also has 1.1MP camera at front for the selfies and one can also record HD video with front cam. To store your pictures, audios, videos and texts messages, it has 8GB internal memory which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The device offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, microUSB v 2.0 as its connectivity options. It works on 2G and 3G network frequencies. It also has FM Radio, games and audio player to keep you busy and entertained in the idle time. Messaging facilities of the device includes SMS, MMS, Email, IM and Push Email.
