Sony has just revealed Xperia ZL2 and it is very much similar to Z2. It's a waterproof and dust proof smartphone. Front & Rear panel of the phone is semi-transparent. The screen size and build quality make it a good device for reading and watching movies. Sony Xperia ZL2 is bit larger than its sibling. There is a Li-ion 3000mAh battery that claims to give a standby time of 640 hours and talktime promised is 22 hours. It is available in three vibrant colors black, white and turquoise. HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5 are its rivals in market. But it is equipped with amazing features so, it can easily beat its rivals.

User Interface and Comfort to Use

The smartphone carries 5.0 inches bird Luminous display with the Sony BRAVIA Engine 2 and X-Reality engine that dominates the front of Xperia ZL2 with a pretty impressive resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. It comes with a height of 137 mm, width of 72mm and thickness of 10.8 mm. The smartphone is weighing around 167 gm. Now, moving towards the hardware section which is an integral part of the device, it is powered by 2.3GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with combination of 3 GB RAM and chipset MSM8974AB. It offers maximum internal storage of 32 GB which can be expanded upto 128 GB by using microSD. With this much of expandable memory one can easily store documents, movies, books in the device.

Telephony and Phonebook

The Xperia ZL2 comes with 2G, 3G as well as 4G network. It can store unlimited number of contacts and SMS. It comes with active noise cancellation option which can reduce 98% of noise.

Messaging and Email Options

Messaging and Email facility includes SMS, MMS, Email, IM and Push Mail service. These all facilities helps you to send and receive messages.

Camera and Image Quality

The smartphone is equipped with an excellent camera of 20 MP with back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor Exmor RS. The device can accommodate up to 4X digital zoom, LED flash, 1/2.3''sensor with G Lens etc. 20 MP camera can click good quality images at resolution 5248 x 3936 pixels. 3.1 MP front camera has been added at front of the device for video calling.

Multimedia

The camera can be shot videos at a high resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. The stereo speaker located at the front side of the device and gives you powerful sound.
