Vodafone Smart Tab 4 got announced in May, 2014. The box contents includes a tablet, battery, charger, earphone, USB cable, quick start guide and warranty card.

Design and Display

The tablet has got a compact and sleek design. It comes in 209 mm of height, 122.8 mm of width and 7.99 mm of thickness as its dimensions along with a weight of 328 grams. Smart Tab 4 has got a 8 inches, capacitive IPS touchscreen that provide a resolution of 1280x800 pixels.

Hardware and Software

It has been powered by 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor and 1 GB RAM. On the storage part, it has an internal memory of 4 GB which can be expanded up to 64 GB with a microSD slot. The phone operates on the Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean Operating System.

Camera

The device has a rear camera of 2 MP with fixed focus facility that provide a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. It also has a VGA front camera with a resolution of 640x480 pixels.

Entertainment

For entertainment it features music player, image viewer, video recorder and video player. It has the Google Play Store which gives access to more than a million apps to the user. It has various inbuilt Vodafone apps like Vodafone Guardian that helps to keep your children safe when using the device, Vodafone Cloud that helps to store your favorite files, Vodafone Protect that helps to lock, locate and wipe contents on your device remotely and Vodafone Wallet that helps to do shopping in a secure way.

Connectivity and Battery

The device has connectivity options for 2G, 3G, 4G, GPRS, Wi-Fi, EDGE, Bluetooth, USB and handsfree. The tablet packs a Li-ion battery of 4060 mAh.
