By Priyanka SainiXiaomi Mi Note is a phablet introduced by Chinese company, Xiaomi in January, 2015. It is the member of 'Mi' lineup of the company which also includes 'Mi Note Pro' and 'Note Plus'. Xiaomi Mi Note comes with stunning display, Dual SIM configuration, KitKat OS, quad-core processor, wonderful camera and powerful battery. Overall, it comes out with a high-end features to leave its mark in the rising competition.
Display and Design
The phone adorns a 5.7-inch IPS display at front which provides a screen resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. It is protected from scratches and any kind of damages through Corning Gorilla Glass version 3 and it flaunts 386ppi pixel density. Measurement wise, it has a length of 155.1mm, width of 77.6mm, thickness of 7mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 161 grams.
Processor and OS
Powering the device is a Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and Adreno 330 GPU which is coupled with a 3GB RAM to handle all the basic operations and to provide unobstructed service to its users. The operating system version offered in this phone is an Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
Camera and Memory
It comes equipped with a wonderful 13MP camera at the back which provides a picture resolution of 4128x3096 pixels and offers auto-focus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection and HDR as its camera features. The front panel got a 4MP camera for the quality selfies and one can also record full HD video with this cam. To store the pictures, audios, messages, videos this phablet supports two versions of internal memory, 16GB and 64 GB but it doesn't support microSD card.
Connectivity and Battery
The connectivity options of the device includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, NFC and microUSB v2.0. For the entertainment purpose, it has FM radio and audio system along with messaging facilities like SMS, MMS, Email and IM. The battery ticking inside the phablet is a Li-Ion 3000mAh unit which is rated to deliver long usage period to the user.
Shades and Price
The Xiaomi Mi Note comes in common Black and White color option and you have to spend USD 371 for the 16GB model. While, 64GB model costs around USD 451(approx.,may vary in both prices).
