Xolo Q900s Plus is a dual- SIM smartphone launched by Xolo in its Q series in December 2014. It comes with quite decent specifications and is available at a very affordable price. It packs a 4.7-inch screen, 8MP camera, Quad-core processor and Android operating system. The sales package contains handset, charger, battery, earphone, USB cable, user manual and warranty card.

Display and Design

The front of the phone dominates a 4.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which has a display resolution of 1280x720 pixels resolution. It flaunts a 16Million color depth and 312ppi pixel density. The screen is also coated with Dragontrail scratch resistant glass which protect it from scratches and any kind of damage. The dimensions of this phone are measured as 135.8x67.2x7.2mm, whereas weighing at just 100 grams this device is quite handful.

Processor and OS

At the heart, it packs a 1.2GHz Quad-core processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon (TM) 200 MSM 8212 chipset and 400MHz Adreno 302 GPU. It is coupled with 1GB RAM to control its basic operations. The operating system version offered in this phone is Android 4.4 KitKat.

Camera and Memory

For the photography, this phone comes equipped with 8MP camera which also includes some features like PureCel(TM) sensor, auto-focus and LED flash. It also has 2MP camera at front for the selfies and video chatting. The main camera is capable of recording HD videos. For the storage purpose, it supports internal memory of 8GB which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

It supports 2G (GSM 1800/1900/850/900 MHz) and 3G (HSDPA 2100 MHz) network frequencies. It offers EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB cable and GPS as its connectivity features. While for messaging, it allows you to do SMS, MMS, Email, IM and Push Email. The battery ticking inside the phone is of 1800mAH unit which is rated to deliver 2G talktime of up to 23 hours and standby time of up to 263 hours. While it gives 14 hours of talktime and up to 246 hours of standby time on 3G network.

The Xolo Q900s Plus comes out in only Black color option and it is priced at Rs. 8,299 approximately.
