Samsung Beam i8520 comes with a tiny camera projector in it which makes it more desirable and unique enough. It is equipped with Nikon Coolpix S1000pj camera for which the phone has been criticized as well. Critics say that it is a large size camera which has been literally crammed in a projector. It is also known as Samsung Halo in the market. This candy bar smart phone runs on Android 2.1 OS.

Samsung Beam i8520 features a 3.7 inches super AMOLED, capacitive touch screen display that will give you a fantastic output resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The phone is equipped with 8 mega pixels camera with LED torch, auto focus and video calling features. For video calling/recording the phone uses its front 0.3 mega pixels VGA recording. It supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity along with USB port functionality as well. With a powerful battery of 1800mAh it offers an excellent talk time of up to 14.16 hours on an average.
